Fisheating Creek, Summer - Get Outside!
Our project is back, built on a philosophy that brings friends together through direct interaction with nature. This time we traveled to Fisheating Creek to explore the river and take photographs.
It's a place worth visiting in summer, when the landscape is full of color between the vegetation, the sky, and the river's water — perfect for paddling its waters and camping on its sandbanks.
Fisheating Creek is the only tributary of the Kissimmee River that flows into Lake Okeechobee. Along its banks, Native American communities settled from roughly 450 BC through the 1700s.
